Why partner with ACCI?
Your support could help us to provide our Members with:
Interventions
Culturally appropriate interventions to include counselling which allows members to cope, heal, recover from crisis to rehabilitation and resettlement.
Support
- Access to support services, such as our Believe to Achieve programme which allows members to feel supported and provides them with the tools to cope with mental health challenges and build strategies for their futures.
Development
- Access to training, development, and employment opportunities.
Opportunities
- Opportunities to develop and build healthy relationships with peers and the wider community whilst promoting self-esteem, accountability, and ownership of mental ill-health conditions.
Health & Wellbeing
- Provision of health and wellbeing services, promoting a comprehensive and holistic approach in supporting members to develop lifelong coping strategies and mental health resilience e.g.; exercise, cooking healthy meals, attending excursions and engaging with the community.
Ways to get involved
- Financial donations – A one off or a continuing financial commitment will contribute towards enabling our Members access practical and emotional support through our counselling services.
- Events – We hold events for our Members throughout the year. The ACCI Annual Reconnecting Gala is one of the biggest events we host each year, which sees over 400 people f rom the community come together to celebrate our Members’ achievements
- Volunteering – If your organisation provides employees with the opportunity to volunteer for charities, we are always on the lookout for people who are passionate about mental health
- Staff fundraising – Encourage your employees to consider fundraising for our charity during Mental Health Awareness Week or World Mental Health Day. E.g., staff quiz, a 5k or 10k run or auction dinner.
- In Kind & Pro-Bono – We welcome ‘in kind’ donations of items and stock that may assist with all our projects.
