The Carers Group helps to raise awareness of the pivotal role played by many carers in the treatment and recovery of the cared for individual. ACCI’s Carers are provided with opportunities for social networking and supported to confidently interact with welfare providers, the police and other health and social work practitioners.

We have over 130 carers who are a part of our network, which provides a safe forum for African and Caribbean carers.
The Carers Network has been operating for 36 years and has helped to raise awareness of the pivotal role played by many carers in the treatment and recovery of the cared for individual.

When caring, it can be easy to feel cut off. The Carers support group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 11:am at the ACCI’s offices.
