PROTECTING THE COMMUNITY
The ACCICoronavirus Hub
We are seeing signs of charity moving
Here at The African Caribbean Community Initiative (ACCI), we are delighted to be working in partnership with NHS, Wolverhampton City Council and Public Health England to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
COVID-19 Community Champions
ACCI are proud to be a COVID Community Champion. The aim of the voluntary network is to:
– Ensure African- Caribbean residents are kept up to date on the latest advice about COVID-19.
– Help dispel the myths around the vaccine.
– Create two-way routes of communication between communities/individuals and the local authority.
As a COVID Champion, a key part of our role is to provide guidance to the community and help make sense of the latest facts about the virus. All the latest advice, guidance and activities can be accessed via the following links.
Our objective is to support the government by minimising the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) and that’s why we have a Test and Trace register that all service members, staff and site visitors need to complete.
