The Carers Group provides a confidential and safe forum for African and African Caribbean carers to share their experiences, offer support and address the isolation that can occur when caring for someone with mental ill health.
Raising Awareness
The Carers Group helps to raise awareness of the pivotal role played by many carers in the treatment and recovery of the cared for individual. ACCI’s Carers are provided with opportunities for social networking and supported to confidently interact with welfare providers, the police and other health and social work practitioners.

Come and join us
When caring, it can be easy to feel cut off. The Carers support group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 11:am at the ACCI’s offices.
