ACCI finalist for MBCC Charity Award

ACCI Named Finalist for "Charity of the Year" at the MBCC Awards

We are thrilled to announce that ACCI (African Caribbean Community Initiative) has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious “Charity of the Year” award at the upcoming Multicultural Business Community Champion (MBCC) Awards. This recognition is a significant milestone for our charity, and we are deeply honoured to be acknowledged for our contributions to supporting mental health within the African and Caribbean communities.

For over 37 years, ACCI has been at the forefront of providing culturally appropriate mental health services for individuals and families in the Wolverhampton area. Our mission is rooted in addressing the unique challenges faced by African and Caribbean people experiencing mental ill health, offering them the care, guidance, and support they need to thrive.

Reaching the finalist stage of the MBCC Awards is a testament to the unwavering support from our community and the hard work of our dedicated team. We are truly humbled by the recognition from so many individuals and organisations who have seen the impact of our work.

The awards evening will be taking place on Saturday, 30th November 2024 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, where the winners will be announced. We are honoured to be in the company of other inspiring charities working towards positive change.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and for your continued belief in our cause
