What is the The Good Night Project?
The Good Night Project launched by the council after the cost-of-living crisis revealed families and children sleeping on floors, continues to face high demand across Wolverhampton.
In partnership with the City of Wolverhampton Council and The Wolves Foundation, ACCI has being supporting families across Wolverhampton with essential items for a good night’s sleep—bed frames, mattresses and bedding.
‘Stocks have nearly run out’
Over the last year, we’ve helped families with 621 beds, 674 mattresses, 246 bedding sets and 24 cots.
This ensures families, particularly those with young children, have access to safe and comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Despite this, demand remains high. The project still receives an average of 25 referrals a week—over four every day. The need for toddler beds, double and triple bunk beds, and single beds for children remains urgent.
You can make a real difference. Just £4 can provide a pillow or fitted sheet, helping a child—or parent—sleep safely and comfortably. Please donate today and help a child or a parent get a good night’s sleep.
