About us
ACCI is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. The organisation was established in 1987 because of growing community concern regarding the disproportionate number of African Caribbeans suffering from mental ill health. Over the years ACCI has worked in partnership with a range of statutory, third sector and private agencies to:

- Influence mental health policy and service delivery.
Our comprehensive range of holistic services include:-
- Supported accommodation and advice;
- Assertive Outreach;
- Day Centre facilities;
- Mental Health Promotion;
- A range of counselling and holistic therapies;
- Life skills/emotional support;
- Educational, practical and recreational activities;
- Training, policy and advocacy;
- Volunteering and befriending services; and
- A Carers Support Group
